An entrepreneur in the information technology industry, Michael Coppola founded CJIS Solutions, the country’s first CJIS compliant cloud hosting provider located in Little Falls, New Jersey. The firm provides secure, Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and compliant cloud data services to clients such as law enforcement organizations. Under Michael Coppola’s management, CJIS Solutions has grown substantially almost doubling it’s client base each year.
Before devoting himself entirely to his business, Michael Coppola defended public safety as chief of police with the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department in Alpine, New Jersey. The position required him to oversee all the department’s staff members and attend to essential duties like budget maintenance. While chief, he achieved such milestones as the design of new public relations strategies, including outreach programs and a department social media feed.
Over the course of his law enforcement career, Mr. Coppola earned numerous honors from multiple different agencies. They range from Unit Citations, Meritorious Service, Exceptional Service and even for delivering seven children over his EMS career.
